nyc
train to an island on the outskirts
a couple of friends
krystalyn, sandrina and others
meeting up with james and ashley
rave

jet skiing from the island to manhattan
trains down
subways down
weaving in and out of boats
riding round and round until finally arriving on the shores of manhattan

near a mound underneath a bridge
an abandoned subway track
with what looks like a train car on the tracks
but instead of a train each booth holds a table and chairs
teenagers sitting around eating icecream
drinking beer
the cops come and bust the others
not us

i run off
down greenish tinted streets
away from my friends
running towards the rave
lost and confused

wtf

waiting with brando
rachael and krystalyn at the train stop
train's are running very erratic hours
brando's comes way after ours

people can't fit into the train that comes right when we arrive
people hold onto handles on the outside of the train and ride
chase after the train for awhile
then return and wait for my train

theater filled with people
some sort of vampire party type thing
we are eating bread
michael jackson befriends me
but it's not really him
but an imposter
leave that to go to a rock horror party that jay has thrown
drink, go crazy, have fun
return home
recieve a text about a 7 day long rock horror fest
my name is on the needs to attend list
jump into a truck with jay and like 12 other people
meet this girl who asks me how i got invited
since i didn't look like anyone else attending
as we're driving i realize i forgot to inform my parents
debate taking the amtrak train up to mass
where the fest is

walking through this random building
with over 40 floors
chilling with people in an elevator
suddenly this asian kid comes
asking where the health science department is
we get off at some random floor
run into a room
and chill with the asian under my cave
then eventually i run off with the asian
bring him to the 25th floor, where he meant to go
then ran off to visit my other friends on the steps of the 25th floor
which overlooked this wide arena
and you could see all the other visible floors from there

i wanted to grab my purse
but at the bottom of the steps was a wolf
a vicious one that kept biting at us all
when the wolf was distracted i ran and grabbed my purse
heading off to this random nursery
where a stand of hair color paint happened to be
i examined all the different variaties of teal for a good while
eventually settling on a small 9$ bottle
then i ran off with krystalyn to hot topic
set off the alarm on the way in with her
grabbed some more hair dye
stuffed it in my purse
and walked out
now there were cops surrounding the exit
they simply asked to see my wallet
and i waived it through the sensors
setting them off once again
they let us off and we jumped into a jeep with rachael
and just drove
and drove
and drove
until all of a sudden we're driving beside the ocean
then we're driving on the beach
with giant ass waves rolling into shore
we park in this tiny parking lot
and walk to the beach
chilling with random high schoolers who also happen to be there
then i woke up

two dreams, one night

number one

hanging out in an unidentified place
with three friends, maria, sarah and some other girl
for whatever reason we had a gun amongst us
we were just talking, chilling
as we're doing this no one noticed sarah took the gun
put it into her mouth
and pulled the trigger
uncontrollable sobbing
then i woke up

number two

i was at my old highschool
with a couple of stony brook friends
it was empty
eerie
the sky was gray, and cloudy
everything dim and gloomy
all of a sudden i dart off towards wintergreen woods
running through the forest
up and down all the side streets to my house
the streets completely empty
no lights at all
i look back into the distance
and this perfect tornado has neatly formed
in some far away location
i remember hearing about this earlier
on the weather channel
and keep running
never quite reaching my house
all of a sudden i'm at the opposite end of town
a place where the roads i took shouldn't have led me
and i'm at my house
which has changed location
i look up and see the tornado is closer
over the highschool now
i call my friends to warn them
but no one answers
i barge into my house
ask my mother if she wants to go out and eat
to a far away town to escape the tornado
since she doesn't believe there is one
we drive around for a bit
but everything's closed
and the tornado is still in town
we return home
i hide in the basement

and i wake up

california here i come ~!~

escape through train
winding on the tracks
high above towns
and villages

over wide expanses of water
dropping me off in an unfamiliar area
in california

skyscrapers engulfing me
wandering to and fro
searching for my friend
who recently escaped to this paradise

and i was free to join
to escape with him
and start this new life

on that distant island
isolated by oceans
hidden by concrete

i start my new life
a new home
new friends

and some old ones return
to join me
one is by herself
the other has one with him

one that will leave me alone
but i move on
and discover something new

trapped ~!~

always vigilant

watching

every movement i make

judging

examining

all aspects of life

in charge of

no person freely allowed to enter

to communicate with

tears followed by more

looking for an escape

anything

leave this area

enter the new

only for them to follow

to constrict

forbid

freedom is nowhere

i will never experience it again

and my captors

my own blood

they cannot allow me to live my own life

those i remember

i'll begin documenting my dreams
those i can remember from the previous night

no matter how silly
how frivolous
how fucking bizarre they are
